Then look no further than Castle Howard, the beautiful estate famous for Bridgerton & Brideshead Revisited, is a place like no other. It’s Christmas visitor attractions have won awards, and this year’s Alice in Wonderland themed festive event is nominated for Visit York’s Tourism Awards 2024.

Alice’s Christmas Wonderland – Curiouser and curiouser! Tumble down the rabbit hole into a winter wonderland like no other, with Castle Howard’s spectacular Christmas event in the House. Alice is planning a huge Christmas party, and she invites you to follow the White Rabbit through Castle Howard’s grand halls and regal rooms with each twist and turn revealing fanciful festive surprises.

Mad Hatter’s Afternoon Tea – Take a seat at the most elegant of tea parties! Castle Howard’s sumptuous festive Afternoon Tea includes delicate sandwiches, freshly baked scones, and intricate miniature cakes, served with a selection of tea and coffee in Castle Howard’s Grecian Hall. Select sittings will also feature special theatrical appearances from the Hatter himself.

Father Christmas in the Castle – Meet Father Christmas, Mrs Claus and jolly WonderPhil at Castle Howard this Christmas.
