Creative agency Youbee Media is celebrating double success having won a Prestige Award for ‘Marketing Consultancy of the Year’ and the recruitment of a new member of the team.

In just over 12 months, the Leeds-based agency has grown to represent 18 brands across the UK and prides itself on helping businesses to communicate their key objectives. The business that is headed up by experienced marketer Rebecca Hopwood now has two employees and plans to continue its growth in 2022.

Working mum Rebecca Hopwood created Youbee Media during the pandemic to strive for a better work/life balance and achieve a more rewarding working experience. Quick success for the agency meant that Rebecca employed Emma Pearson on a Digital Marketing apprenticeship in March 2021. On a whim, Rebecca entered the business for the Prestige Awards and was thrilled to hear of the news that Youbee Media had not only been short listed but had won the prestigious accolade.

Daniel Jones, Prestige Awards Team said “The judges praised the tailored approach taken by Youbee Media with the team taking the time to get to understand what makes each business they work with unique before taking a tailored approach to help them achieve their goals and objectives. They won’t sell you a solution based on what they think or offer off the peg options available at any marketing consultancy. Instead, they work create a plan that achieves your specific requirements.”

Revelling in the highs of the award success, Rebecca had further growth in mind for Youbee Media began recruitment for a new member of the team. “I knew that I wanted a graphic designer so that we could continue to deliver on the projects that clients were asking for. I wanted to showcase expertise and experience, so when we found Dena, we knew that we had found exactly what we needed.”

Dena Reynolds is the newest recruit to the growing team and brings over 15 years’ experience in communication, marketing, and graphic design. Having recently completed qualifications in websites on WordPress and Squarespace, CSS coding, SEO, InDesign and Illustrator, there was no doubt that Dena would bring great value to the team.

Director Rebecca says, “The last 12 months have already surpassed my expectations, so I just can’t wait to see what 2022 holds.”
