Over 180 guests gathered on in mid November, at the Leeds Marriott Hotel to celebrate Yorkshire’s vibrant fashion scene and the transformative work of Smart Works Leeds. The charity, which empowers women to succeed in job interviews through styling and coaching, hosted this memorable evening to recognise both the wonderful work of local fashion businesses and individuals, as well as community support across the region.

Smart Works Leeds, which provides women with interview clothing and coaching, hosted this event to highlight the power fashion has to transform lives.

The night included awards for outstanding achievements across Yorkshire’s fashion industry and the supporters of Smart Works Leeds, with winners recognised in categories from emerging designers to influential retail teams:

Indie of the Year – sponsored by Brodie Cashmere and won by Trad Collective
Retail Team of the Year – sponsored by Design Tonic and won by Burberry
Emerging Designer of the Year – sponsored by Berry’s Jewellers and won by Hannah Travis and Libby Austin
Influencer of the Year – sponsored by Dowsing & Reynolds and won by Amina Bham
Fashion Creative of the Year – sponsored by AJC Accounting and won by Trudy Fielding
Event of the Year – sponsored by Grace and Tailor and won by Victoria Leeds
Company of the Year – sponsored by Proper Financial Coaching and won by Women in Morrisons

The event celebrated the unity, creativity, and generosity of Yorkshire’s fashion and business communities, with all proceeds supporting Smart Works Leeds in their mission to empower women across the region, and support 1000 woman by March 2025.
