The 3 Acres in Huddersfield has launched a recruitment drive as it looks to expand its hospitality team ahead of reopening in May. The much-loved restaurant with rooms has been closed since it was severely damaged by fire on Boxing Day 2023.

With ten weeks until it reopens its doors to the public, owners Tom and Lauren Truelove have announced they are now looking for staff to join the venue.

Tom said: “We’re on the final push to reopening now, and we’re pleased to be recruiting to grow our already excellent team.

“To complement our front-of-house team, we’re keen to hear from enthusiastic and customer-focused individuals who would like to become bar and waiting staff, and we are also recruiting for an experienced restaurant manager and bar manager.

“We also have a really exciting opportunity for Commis Chefs and Chefs de Partie to join our kitchen team and help us shape the exceptional food that The 3 Acres is so well-known for. They will get to work in a brand-new, state-of-the-art professional kitchen that outshines many top London restaurants in terms of kit and capability.”

Lauren said: “After what will be 17 months of hard work, we are so excited to welcome guests back once again in May – and we’re now looking for new and enthusiastic team members to join us as a new chapter begins at The 3 Acres.”

All vacancies can be viewed by visiting 3acres.com/careers. Applications for all roles close on Monday 31st March 2025.
