Famed across the globe for its beauty, the British South Coast is well worth a visit – so, who could blame you for wanting to go there? With so many splendid areas along the coast, it can be hard to decide which ones to head to. That’s why we’ve put together our top five South Coast destinations. Read on to identify yours…

  1. Brighton

If you’re after a vibrant resort town, look no further than Brighton. A hub of art and culture, it’s the ideal location for both days out and long stays. From The Lanes to the cheap and cheerful pier, it brims with life. For history enthusiasts, the Royal Pavilions offer historical intrigue, in addition to a peaceful surrounding garden. Not to mention, it boasts a splendid sea front.

It’s Britain’s only island city! Aside from its rich maritime heritage, Portsmouth is home to some serious seaside delights. For a view like no other, head to the Spinnaker Tower. After a trip in its super speed lift, you’ll be able to see across the entire city.
