Integrated marketing agency The Bigger Boat has been appointed as the official marketing partner for Climb25, the Leeds-based event connecting scaling UK companies with international investors, innovators, and collaborators, taking place on 2-3 July 2025.

The two-day event – now in its third year – is expected to attract more than 4,000 attendees from various sectors. The Bigger Boat will lead the delivery of multi-channel marketing and communications, including digital campaigns, social media, and strategic content, with a focus on driving registrations and growing the event’s national profile.

ClimbUK is designed to spotlight business innovation and investment outside of London, with a programme built around practical insight, inclusive growth, and meaningful collaboration. The decision to appoint an external full-service agency reflects the event’s rapid growth and ambitions to expand its reach across the UK and internationally.

Emma Heslop, commercial director said: “We’re proud to support Climb25 – it's a bold and exciting brief that plays to our strengths. Our job is to amplify the summit’s energy, ambition, and impact, particularly for businesses and regions that rarely get the spotlight.

“Key for our team is communicating the event’s vibrancy, point of difference, and unrivalled opportunity for attendees’ collaboration and connection – Climb25 is unlike any other corporate-feeling event where networking is often a feared activity.”

Gordon Bateman, founder of ClimbUK and InvestorLadder, added: “We needed a marketing partner who truly understands what ClimbUK is about – and The Bigger Boat stood out early with its creative vision, strategic insight, and values-led approach. The team understands the scale of what we’re building and the ambition behind it. We’re excited to work together and build on the momentum of Climb24.”

Climb25 is backed by the West Yorkshire Combined Authority, British Business Bank, and CRSI. The full programme and speaker line-up will be announced later this month.
