The Curve and Sheffield Women in Tech provide members with hot drink promotion

Technical solutions specialist The Curve has partnered with Sheffield Women in Tech (ShfWiT) to provide members with a “welcome back” free hot drink and pastry from two local businesses in Sheffield as many return to their office environments after the lockdown period.
Launching this week, ShfWiT members will be able to redeem the offer from Albies on Snig Hill in the city centre and Gaard Coffee in West One.
The initiative has been launched with the aim to give something back to the local community following the effects and impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.
ShfWIT is an open and inclusive community which encourages women working in tech within Sheffield to meet once a month to discuss key sector topics and develop knowledge and skillsets.
Commenting on the initiative, Laura Smith from ShfWIT said: “Everyone has felt the effects of the pandemic over the last few months, so what better way to support the return to the office environment, and our local cafes, than offering members a coffee and pastry, and the opportunity for a catch up with old and new co-workers alike.”
Business development director Melise Jones from The Curve said: “The tech sector is still a male dominated space. We love that ShfWiT bring together women who do digital things…and welcome everyone who want to see more diversity in the digital sector.”
