Christmas shopping season is almost upon us and whilst we spend time trudging around the shops looking for gifts for friends and loved ones, at some point it will be time to stop for lunch or even a cheeky cocktail at the end of the day.

Where better to stop than Pizza Punks in a great central location on Bond Street. Yorkshire Businesswoman member Michelle Cowan, MD, NED and Podcast Host popped in to check it out.

“It has a funky urban décor with staff to match,” she said, “all of whom were very attentive. The menu is extensive if you love pizza and pasta with a variety of sides that can be mixed and matched. Basically, you can have what you want with no limit, perfect for hungry shoppers.

“My colleague Sharon and I had a pear and walnut bruschetta and mac and cheese, prawn linguine and a veggie pizza with an amazing variety of toppings. All pizzas are made with a sourdough base with vegan and gluten free options available.

“They have a fantastic range of cocktails, different to the usual. We enjoyed a strawberry smash which they do in both cocktail and mocktail.

“Staff were knowledgeable when asked about the menu and were able to make recommendations for us. Prices are reasonable so all in all we can recommend for weary Christmas shoppers, a business lunch or a catch up with friends after work.”
