Business entrepreneur and aesthetic surgeon, Lubna Khan-Salim is celebrating the opening of her beauty clinic and putting North Yorkshire on the map with a revolutionary new skin treatment previously unavailable outside London.

The Selby-based surgeon and skin specialist is one of only a few qualified, independent professionals that will be offering the exclusive celebrity-favoured skin treatment in the region.

Lubna Khan-Salim, who is the founder of medi-spa, Time to Bloom, is the only female qualified physician in North Yorkshire who will be providing the revolutionary Inmode Morpheus-8 technology enjoyed by the likes of Amanda Holden, Faye Tozer, and Judy Murray who have attracted headlines after sharing their recent treatment stories in the media.

The non-surgical skin treatment device uses micro-needling and radiofrequency to rejuvenate skin on the face, neck, and body. It is particularly effective for skin tightening, reducing scarring and achieving the effects of a facelift without having to go under the knife. Lubna said:

“I’m so excited to be able to offer this treatment in Yorkshire. It’s been a celebrity secret for so long and now the people of Yorkshire can enjoy it too! Because of the reduced running costs, we can offer it at a much lower price point than is available in London, and I’m already receiving inquiries from people down south who want to come up to Yorkshire now travel and beauty treatments are permitted.”

Lubna launched Time to Bloom in February 2020, just before the pandemic took hold. Like many in the beauty industry, Lubna has spent much of the last year closed for treatments. However, with full service now resumed, and a busy booking schedule, Lubna is enthusiastically looking to the future:

“My first year of trading has been full of challenges. When I left my role as a plastic surgeon in the NHS, I didn’t envision what the next 12 months would have in store. However, I was determined to continue my entrepreneurial dream and I have spent this time developing my business, pivoting to offer new products and services, sharing my expertise online, and have developed some amazing relationships and partnerships with other businesses and charities.”

Lubna writes a monthly skincare column in Yorkshire Businesswoman magazine, hosts online charity events, and regularly appears as a skincare specialist on Stephanie Hirst’s BBC Radio Leeds show.

Time to Bloom will be hosting online and face-to-face events to showcase the new treatment with further details and bookings available at www.timetobloom.uk
