Bellway Homes welcomed local community members to its Bishop’s Gate development in Beverley for a summer celebration and the grand opening of the new show homes.

In partnership with local business, Alpacas At The Field, Bellway Homes provided a unique and engaging experience, allowing attendees to explore the development with alpacas. Additionally, one lucky visitor won the opportunity to become an alpaca handler for the day.

Visitors were also given the opportunity to view the new Scrivener, Bowyer, and ‘House to Home’ show homes on site, providing an exclusive preview of the latest Bellway offerings.

Yorkshire’s sales director, Melanie Smith, said: “The event not only showcased the stunning new show homes, but also highlighted Bellway’s commitment to community engagement and creating unique, enjoyable experiences for residents of the site, and potential homeowners.”

“The alpacas were a highlight for many, but we also had the local ice cream van to keep guests refreshed, and the sun was out which is always a bonus. Although, I do wish I could have entered the competition to become an alpaca handler for the day!”

Being built on an 11-hectare site off Woodmansey Mile, Bishop’s Gate comprises 300-homes and the development has been designed to appeal to buyers from all walks and stages of life – from first time buyers through to growing families and those wishing to downsize.
