To celebrate the month of March, and the arrival of Spring, award-winning Huddersfield residential developer Yorkshire Country Properties (YCP) has unveiled fabulous offers on three of its brand-new three-bedroom houses.

Two of the three houses in question are at YCP’s Knowle Grange development at Shepley and one is at Whistle Bell Court in Skelmanthorpe. Both village locations are close to Huddersfield, recently named as the UK’s premier property hotspot.

YCP’s ‘Splurge This Spring’ offer, which lasts throughout March, features a £1,000 furnishings voucher and Stamp Duty paid, while high-quality Karndean flooring and carpets are also included. The properties also benefit from being able to move in to immediately for buyers looking for a Spring completion. Terms and conditions apply.

The two Shepley houses are Plot 3 at £355,000 and Plot 6 at £330,000, while the Skelmanthorpe property is Plot 10, priced at £315,000.

Paul Brown, managing director of Yorkshire Country Properties, commented: “We are absolutely delighted to offer these significant incentives on three of our most attractive houses at a time when quality new-build homes in the Huddersfield area are becoming increasingly popular.

“We are very proud of our Knowle Grange and Whistle Bell Court developments. Knowle Grange is a beautiful new development on Abbey Road, within a short distance of Shepley village centre and railway station, while Whistle Bell Court in Skelmanthorpe comprises 30 quality homes in the heart of the village.

“Huddersfield, and the picturesque villages which surround the town, tick so many boxes. Houses here offer superb value for money, bearing in mind their excellent location, their beautiful surroundings and their first-class facilities. What a magnificent combination of factors.

“At the same time, confidence is returning to the housing market, driven by a pause in bank rate increases and the prospect of lower mortgage rates. It's widely anticipated that rates closer to 4 per cent will attract more buyers into the market, supporting sales and pricing levels.”

Anne Haggas, new homes specialist with global property consultancy Savills, who are marketing YCP’s developments at Shepley, Skelmanthorpe and Denby Dale, commented: “Savills are very proud to be working in partnership with Yorkshire Country Properties. They deliver exactly what it says on the tin. They design and build exemplary one to five-bed new build homes throughout West Yorkshire, with an empathy for the area and with meticulous attention to detail.

“All of their properties are built to the highest quality and are contemporary in design with a stylish elegance. They are all built from natural tumbled Yorkshire stone and they pay particular attention to individual plot positions to avoid uniformity.

“Yorkshire Country Properties build the most desirable homes, in excellent locations, with beautiful surroundings and first-class facilities. However, with equal importance to the properties which they build, they take tremendous care to create the perfect customer journey from reservation to completion to deliver the ultimate buying experience.”

Samantha McGregor, YCP’s Associate Director, Sales, added: “The lifestyle offering in the Huddersfield area is unbeatable. Together with attractive country walks and historic pubs, there are also quality schools, thriving independent shops and a lively social scene. What’s more, it’s within easy reach of Leeds, Manchester and Sheffield, with city life on your doorstep, without paying a city’s higher property premiums.

She continued: “At Yorkshire Country Properties, we have been buoyed by recognition in a range of awards in 2023, winning two major honours in the WhatHouse? awards and being shortlisted in the Yorkshire Post Real Estate and the Yorkshire Business Insider Property awards for our developments at Shepley, Skelmanthorpe and Denby Dale.

“This recognition has meant a tremendous amount to our hard-working team and has given us the confidence to progress two prestigious new West Yorkshire developments, one at Grange Moor, Kirklees, and the other in the very popular Huddersfield postcode of HD9. Yes, 2023 was tough, but this year’s mortgage rate cuts are just the boost the housing market needs.”
