Barnsley Fashion Week has released the tickets for their Charity Headline Fashion Show which will be held at Barnsley Metrodome Arena on Friday the 27th of October.

Organised by Barnsley Rockley Rotary Club - in aid of local charities BIADS and Marie Curie – the week runs from the 23rd to the 27th October with events taking place across the city.

The week aims to support and promote the future of fashion in Yorkshire, working closely with the next generation, including Barnsley College students in Fashion, Art & Design, Catering, Hospitality and Beauty.

The Headline Fashion Show is the finale of the week and will include over 90 looks from retailers of The Glass Works, local independent brands and boutiques, independent fashion designers from the area as well as Barnsley College Fashion Students.

The show’s main sponsor is Clobber Swap, a clothing exchange platform who’s mission is to help people refresh their wardrobes whilst at the same time reducing waste and promoting circular fashion.

Victoria Reddington, creative director of Barnsley Fashion Week said: “This friendly network of fashion lovers at Clobber Swap, all sell, swap and connect via a Facebook community of over 6,000 people. Their community aligns perfectly with our ethos for Barnsley Fashion week which is all about sustainability and community. “

“Our message is all about refreshing our wardrobes sustainably; looking after the planet whilst looking after each other in a friendly community Facebook group. Barnsley Fashion Week is a fantastic way for us to spread this message to everyone who loves fashion just as much as we do!

“Our members are really excited to be walking down the catwalk, having never had an opportunity to do anything like this before. It’s sure to be an empowering experience for all of us, and we just can’t wait for the big night now! “
