Freemans, the Bradford-based, digital department store, has announced a new initiative under the banner “Freemans’ Ways to Save”.

It seeks to help its customers in the most challenging of times by curating products across four key areas- including ‘smart swap’ energy-saving electricals, great value winter warmer knitwear and coats, money saving products for cosy nights in and a host of special seasonal offers.

The product selections are designed specifically to help with customers who are ‘feeling the pinch’ as the cost-of-living crisis escalates.

The move comes as items such as electric blankets, thermal underwear and air fryers are dominating google searches and the retailer has seen demand for these types of products rocket by over 400%.

Ways to Save covers:
Smart swaps – discover ways to save with energy efficient electricals.

  • Feel Cosy at Home – discover ways to save with our winter warmers at home.
  • Feel Good for Less - discover ways to save with our great value fashion, the foundation of which is Freemans’ exclusive Bon Prix value fashion offer.
  • For Nights In – discover ways to save for a budget-friendly evening in with family and friends.

“We have heard customers say they feel under pressure more than ever, so we’ve pulled together hundreds of great value products and money saving hints and tips to help us all get through these colder months. From energy efficient electricals and smart swaps you can make around the home, to great value winter fashion you can layer up and wear all season - all of which come with our always-on free delivery and free returns promise, complimented by flexible ways to pay,” said Richard Cristofoli, Chief Customer Officer of Freemans.

“Ways to Save” will be supported by a through the line digital and social marketing campaign and with helpful hints, tips and content on Freemans.com.
