Highly experienced criminal psychologist, guest lecturer, radio host, podcaster, and blogger Linda Sage is teaming up with family-run business Writers Retreat in Beal, North Yorkshire, to host two workshops in January 2024.

Linda has spent forty years working with some of the UK’s most notorious criminals, developing a wealth of expertise which she uses to provide training, consultation, insight and support to a wide range of audiences and stakeholders.

The workshops will include Linda’s insights on:

  • What prisons are really like
  • Criminal profiling
  • Types of killers and reasons to kill
  • Talking to infamous killers

Both events feature a freshly prepared lunch and plenty of time to ask questions.

Linda says: “I’m really looking forward to working with Writers Retreat. Whatever your interest in criminal psychology – whether you’re a crime writer or just someone who’s keen to learn more, this is an opportunity to hear my unique perspective”.

Writers Retreat founder Jan Birley says: “We’re so excited to work with Linda. We warmly welcome people from all backgrounds, including beginners or those who just want to try something different, and promise guests will have a unique and thought-provoking day.”

Jan, herself an established writer, set up Writers Retreat four years ago after being unable to find the kind of experience she was looking for. She has run the Retreat as a passion business ever since. It’s now solidifying its reputation as an excellent events venue, being accessible from all main commuter points yet surrounded by beautiful North Yorkshire countryside.

Tickets for the workshops, from 2-5pm on Saturday 20 and Sunday 21 January, can be booked at https://writersretreatuk.co.uk/day-courses-retreats-and-workshops/
