Five new stores set to open before Christmas, plus a major festive glow up as the new lighting scheme is unveiled.

Victoria Leeds hosts ‘Fashion Santa’: win the gifts from his red Tesla Sleigh

A full-to-capacity Victoria Gate will open its doors to several new permanent and temporary stores before Christmas, promising that guests will find a gift for everyone on their shopping list! Still to open in Victoria Gate before the big man comes are Pour Moi and Allertons. Plus, temporary pop-ups Libations Rum, Curated Makers and Raspberry Pi.

Win the contents of ‘Fashion Santa’s red Tesla ‘Sleigh’
The official ‘Fashion Santa’, Paul Mason has walked prestigious runways across the world, even closing the final Jean Paul Gaultier haute couture show in 2020. Promising to bring the festive spirit with a fashion style, ‘Fashion Santa’ will kick off the festive season in style.

Flying into the centre on his red Tesla sleigh, giving one lucky shopper a £1,000 shopping spree at Victoria Leeds ready to begin the new year. For more details shoppers can find the Tesla Sleigh from 11th November outside of NEOM.

Glow Up: A Glam New Christmas Glow
Victoria Leeds will see a massive festive glow-up this year, with a beautiful new Christmas light scheme complete with two 10 METRE Christmas trees and full decorations throughout the centre, creating a real Winter Wonderland- perfect for snapping a selfie around the tree or in the all new custom designed angel wings located outside Victoria Gate.
Presents for all with new store tenants.

Homeware brand Cox & Cox has opened it’s doors in Victoria Quarter, making for the perfect place to pick up beautiful baubles and Christmas wrapping alongside new home decor. Still to open in Victoria Quarter is the beautiful jewellery of Monica Vinader in early December and your favourite gin tipple from Wolfe Gin in County Arcade.

Over in Victoria Gate, Allertons will be opening a new high-end salon to get you glammed up and ready for the celebrations. Raspberry Pi brings the world of affordable and approachable computer programming to Leeds (the perfect gift for enthusiastic kids and computer-whizz grown-ups too). Check out lingerie at Pour Moi, drinks from Libations.

Bringing indie to the high street

Opened on Saturday 28th October, Curated Makers took up a unit too - a retail concept offering local indie makers and artists a spot to sell on the high street. More than 40 small businesses will be offering everything from homeware to candles, clothing to artwork, from the new pop-up.
Victoria Leeds will also be hosting Tyro Studios Workshops, with mall workshops on Wreaths and Baubles too.

A personal service
A new Guest Excellence Service has been launched following a seven-week intense training course to offer a new personalised service to help Victoria Leeds guests make their experience extra special and spread joy. Tasked with greeting guests, helping with navigation, letting shoppers in on secret offers from premium retailers and offering hands-free shopping. The team will also be making shoppers feel extra-special, handing out complimentary treats, as random acts of kindness this festive season!
Jo Coburn, senior general manager said:

“We’re going all out this year, decking the halls with our biggest Christmas lighting installation to date. It’s a fantastic way to end the year and welcoming even more new retailers to Victoria Leeds feels extra special this year, as Victoria Gate will be full for the first time since opening! We also want to give back to our guests by making someone’s Christmas with a huge Christmas giveaway!

It really is going to be a Christmas to remember.
