The Little Pearl Bridal Boutique in Pickering has scooped up their third award title of Best Bridal Retailer in Yorkshire and The North East at this year’s The Wedding Industry Awards. Voted for by brides who have visited the boutique, and then rigorously judged by bridal professionals, this award is one of the most prestigious in the wedding industry.

Owner of the boutique, and mum of three, Diana McMann says, “I am still on cloud nine! It has been the most challenging 18 months as a small business, going through times of not knowing if we’d have a business at the end of it, to having one of our most successful years yet! I am so proud of how we have adapted and turned these challenging times into opportunities. I’m thrilled that my team have been recognised for their continued dedication to our brides and for giving them the most amazing bridal experience. We couldn’t do any of this without our brides and we are so grateful of their support too. It’s an honour to be a part of their special day and it’s so heart warming to see wedding days now going ahead and the wedding industry getting back on it’s feet. I can’t wait for an exciting year ahead, which will see us open an additional fitting room, allowing us to help even more brides on their bridal journey.

The boutique now goes on to compete in the National Finals, held in London on 23rd January, where they will be up against the top 7 boutiques in the country.

The Little Pearl really has put the Yorkshire region on the map for customer service excellence within the bridal industry and beyond. They have brides visiting from all over the country, as well as abroad, wanting to be one of their #PearlsGirls! With 3 prestigious award wins now under their belt, and 5 other award nominations, it’s a testament to any small business owner that with passion and dedication, you really can achieve your business dreams.

The Little Pearl specialises in Bridal and accessories and prides itself on giving all of their brides an unrivalled, one to one, private, bridal experience. Stocking designers that are exclusive to this area, it is a must visit for any bride to be.

The Wedding Industry Awards are the only client-voted regional and national awards in the wedding industry and their judging panel are second to none in their breadth and depth of expertise and experience. The TWIA logo has become a mark of the highest quality coveted by wedding suppliers all over the country and, most importantly, by couples getting married - A "kite mark" for the wedding industry.

Diana opened The Little Pearl Bridal Boutique 7 years ago, after leaving a career in the corporate world to follow her passion of running her own business. She is a mum of three boys, with a background in marketing and after building a successful six figure brand (The Little Pearl) she is now coaching other female entrepreneurs in how to market their business effectively, whilst also balancing being a mum.
